Ballet Pointe Lead

We’re on the lookout for an experienced, passionate Ballet Pointe Lead to join our teaching team from Term 2, 2026!

About the role:

  • Private Pointe starter lessons (supporting students into group classes)

  • Weekly senior (14+) & adult Pointe group classes

  • Teaching ATOD syllabus + open class material

  • Regular Saturday afternoon availability required (with scope for more for the right person)

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a thorough understanding of Pointe with proven teaching experience

  • Has a strong interest in safe dance practice, anatomy, and ongoing PD

  • Is warm, engaging and builds strong student rapport

  • Communicates clearly and professionally

  • Is a team player and willing to collaborate, learn from others, and work closely with our conditioning coach and ballet teachers

  • Has a genuine passion for supporting recreational dancers who love ballet but aren’t pursuing professional pathways

  • Aligns with our studio values of Kindness, Inclusion, Empowerment & Growth - can strike a great balance of pushing students but never at the expense of wellbeing.
